K2 SMS Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 09/14/2026
Program Description
K2 Electric Employee Messaging provides work-related SMS communications to consenting field and
office employees. Messages may include project assignments and reassignments, jobsite addresses,
foreman contact information, start times, schedule changes, safety meeting reminders, company
event announcements, and responses to employee questions. Some messages may be sent
automatically at scheduled times.
Enrollment & Consent
Employees enroll by giving explicit permission to an authorized K2 Electric representative, including
through a documented verbal agreement. Before enrollment, employees are informed of the
program, message types, variable frequency, possible message and data charges, and how to opt out
or obtain help. Simply providing a phone number or confirming smartphone ownership does not
constitute enrollment. These terms apply when you choose to participate.
Voluntary Participation
Participation in this SMS program is voluntary and is not a condition of employment. If you decline or
stop texts, coordinate with your supervisor or the office to receive required work instructions another
way. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Message Frequency & Costs
Message frequency varies according to assignments, scheduling changes, company announcements,
and your replies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your wireless plan for charges relating to
incoming and outgoing texts and mobile data. K2 Electric does not charge a program enrollment fee.

consent. You may also contact the office to withdraw consent. If you wish to rejoin, contact the office
to complete enrollment again.
Help & Employee Replies

Employee replies may be reviewed by authorized company personnel to address work questions and
coordinate assignments. Replies are not continuously monitored. For an urgent schedule issue,
contact your supervisor or the office directly. For an emergency, call 911.
Accurate Information & Delivery
Provide a mobile number you are authorized to use and notify K2 if it changes or is reassigned. Text
delivery can be delayed or fail because of wireless coverage, device settings, carrier restrictions, or
service interruptions. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If instructions
appear incomplete or conflict with other directions, confirm them with your supervisor. Do not read
or respond to messages while driving or operating equipment.

expanding the types of messages covered by your existing permission. These terms govern employee
messaging and do not replace employment policies or agreements.
